Oils on Canvas
My preference of medium is oils on canvas, I find that working with oils enhances the passion and creativity of me and enables me to bring that passion out onto my canvases, Its a medium that I love working with and through this journey I hope that you see this reflected in my artwork.

Framing
Due to size difference's in stretched canvases and frames i found that making ,my own frames are more affordable and can be made for any size of canvas, I make my frames out of wood and plaster which can make the frames quite heavy but the quality and look make it worth while.

A friends Sister

I was asked by friend to paint this portrait, This was painted from a photograph of my friend sister nas she had passed earlier that year, It was a privalige to firstly be asked to do this and secondly to paint this portrait. i was often reminded whilst painting that i was bringing alive on canvas a lady who is no longer with us.
Bridge over Water

This is a landscape of a bridge in Scotland not far from Fort William, there are a few of these bridges in the area joining banks from opposite sides of rivers and lochs.
